So what exactly are current alternatives to ETH on which dapps could be made more efficiently?
it’s been some time since Etherum is here yet lots of times the network is congested with abysmal transaction speeds.

I keep seeing ETH killer tag for every new project every now and then and yet nothing comes out of it.
we don’t need an ETH killer to be sure but need competition and also reduced transaction fees on the network (gas fee).

so my question is if there is a project under progress, trying to effectively solve all these issues? when can we expect a real alternative?
